Ethics provides a profession with guidelines for conduct for all of those working in that field. When working with mothers and babies, health care providers are able to safeguard the interest of both members of the breastfeeding dyad when practicing ethically. This LC unit defines ethics and provides case studies and questions as they relate to breastfeeding mothers.
